Service
DossierCFO prepares source-backed financial dossier drafts for professional review. It can support document intake, extraction, evidence review, KPI organization, readiness state, report drafting, and PDF export where enabled.
DossierCFO does not replace an accountant, financial advisor, auditor, lawyer, tax consultant, lender, investment professional, M&A advisor, insolvency professional, restructuring advisor, or any regulated professional service.
Access
Accounts are created through sign-up with email verification or an enabled identity provider. New accounts can upload and manage files, but AI usage, OCR-assisted analysis, report generation, and export creation require Focus Digital to enable AI access.
Focus Digital may approve, reject, suspend, disable, or limit access where needed for security, abuse prevention, operational safety, legal compliance, or access review.
Acceptance
By creating an account or using DossierCFO, the user confirms that they accept these Terms and have read the Privacy notice. Signup records the accepted Terms and Privacy versions for auditability.
Users who act for a company, client, advisor, or other organization confirm that they are authorized to use DossierCFO for that organization or engagement.
Permitted use
Users must:
- upload only documents they are allowed to process;
- avoid unnecessary special-category, criminal-offence, or sensitive personal data;
- review all outputs before relying on or sharing them;
- keep credentials secure and notify Focus Digital of suspected unauthorized access;
- use evidence-request links only for the requested evidence task;
- comply with applicable law, professional duties, confidentiality obligations, and customer instructions.
Users must not use DossierCFO to generate, present, or market a final audit opinion, accounting certification, tax opinion, legal opinion, investment recommendation, credit approval, bank approval, formal valuation, insolvency opinion, or regulated advice.
Output limits
Reports and dashboards are drafts with sources, limitations, and evidence state. No output is accounting certification, tax/legal opinion, credit approval, bank approval, investment advice, audit assurance, insolvency advice, or a formal valuation.
Before external sharing with a bank, buyer, creditor, investor, customer, authority, or other counterparty, the user must review sources, assumptions, limitations, and missing evidence with appropriate qualified professionals.
Operational limits
Default limits are 25 primary document upload attempts per user per 24 hours, 5 pending primary uploads, 10 active cases, and 50 MB of active account storage. These limits protect platform stability and abuse controls; this is not a public billing tier.
Focus Digital may change operational limits for controlled access, security, abuse prevention, or signed customer arrangements.
Data protection and DPA
The Privacy notice and Cookie page describe Focus Digital's controller processing. For customer workspace data processed under customer instructions, the DPA summary and any signed customer DPA apply.
The user remains responsible for the lawfulness of uploaded documents and for providing required notices or instructions to data subjects, clients, employees, advisors, or contributors.
Subprocessors and AI/OCR
Production subprocessors and AI/OCR routes are listed in the public legal documentation. Live customer AI/OCR access should not be approved unless the active provider route and contract/DPA record are confirmed.
Suspension and removal
Focus Digital may suspend or remove access, files, links, reports, or outputs where it reasonably believes there is a breach of law, these Terms, third-party rights, confidentiality, security requirements, upload policy, or service integrity.
Availability and changes
DossierCFO is provided as a controlled web service. Focus Digital may update features, workflows, limits, providers, or documentation to improve security, compliance, reliability, or product behavior.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law and any signed customer agreement, DossierCFO is provided as software support for professional review. Focus Digital is not liable for decisions made without reviewing sources, assumptions, limitations, missing evidence, and professional context.
Governing law
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise or a signed customer agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by Italian law and business-customer disputes are subject to the courts of Milan, Italy.
Notices
Operational, privacy, support, security, and legal notices may be sent to info@focus-digital.it with a clear subject prefix such as Legal, Privacy, Support, or Security incident.
